recalcitranttoyIt's very nice to see that some things don't change....Bonaire being one of them. Captain Don's is the "same as it ever was" with improved wifi (yay), and we were greeted as if old friends by the manager and our pal Wilco the photo guy. Went to Lion's Den for dinner and got lots of hugs from the manager over there as well and a hearty "welcome home."
Today is bright overcast (perfect for video) and warm and humid (what a surprise, eh?). I'm having some technical difficulties on the housing I JUST had overhauled (monitor back not working) but I can still shoot with the other back I brilliantly brought with....just not as easily. Oh well, who isn't up for a bit of a challenge? We're getting our gear together and will take our first plunge into the reef at Captain Don's in just a little while. Mark this....I am awake and pretty much functional before 10 am. W00t!
