Things I'm Learning From Coriolanus
Jun. 24th, 2007 05:42 pmNever thought I'd learn so much about life from fight practice for Coriolanus.
1) One cannot necessarily replicate scenes from Bulletproof Monk reliably in stage combat. A corollary to that is that kicking plastic clips can result in an experiment on aerodynamics.
2) BDUs do not come in women's sizes. But damn, they should. "Does my butt look fat in these BDUs?"
3) Jungle combat boots do not come in 1/2 sizes
4) Kicking a tree trunk with legs does not often accomplish much...
5) Wearing ice on one's head may be hazardous to one's fragile little ego.
6) Perfectly good video equipment may suddenly cease to function properly without warning, just cuz it can.
7) NSAIDs are your friend :-).
